Over 50% of our student body has been with us for two years or less.  That percentage will remain at 50% when our fall semester begins.  Over 60% will have be starting their first, second, or third year with us.  We are very thankful for all of the new families.  We anticipated a change in our culture, possibly more behavior problems, but that hasn’t happened.  In fact, the new students seemed to “fit in” immediately.  What we didn’t think about was the dip in our achievement test scores.  We used to be able to say that all of our grades averaged at the 90th percentile or higher on the Stanford Achievement Test.  Although our score are still significantly above average, the only classes scoring above the 90th percentile are kindergarten and upper high school classes.  Our goal will be to see if we can get our scores back up in the next couple of years.
